Shooting this GhostClubBoy Chinese New Year campaign was an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by flowers in the foreground, the visuals captured a balance between tradition and modern streetwear. What made this shoot even more meaningful was that I was actually running a fever that day—but the warmth and energy of the brand team and crew carried me through. Their passion and attention to detail made every moment on set feel inspiring, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of it.
Despite feeling under the weather, I channeled all my focus into bringing the brand’s vision to life. The styling, the atmosphere, and the creative direction all came together seamlessly, creating a campaign that truly celebrates the spirit of the Lunar New Year. The contrast of delicate floral elements with bold, contemporary designs made for a striking visual story, blending heritage with a fresh, street-inspired edge.
As a Chinese model, representing a Malaysian brand for such a significant celebration felt incredibly special.
